Meet the Teachers!

Suzanne Sandoval-Andrew
This is my 7th year teaching Kindergarten at Grant Ranch. I am from Illinois. I graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and I have a Master’s Degree from University of Colorado at Denver in Information and Learning Technologies. I also have experience as an ESL teacher and Instructional Technology Specialist in Denver Public Schools. I love teaching Kindergarten because of the amazing curiosity and love of learning 5 year-olds possess. I enjoy hiking, running, vacationing in Mexico, and spending time with my children. I look forward to a great year getting to know each student and their family.

Meet Mrs. Perry:
My name is Kathy Perry. I am the teacher assistant for Mrs. Andrew. This is my second year working as a teacher assistant in the public school. I am so happy to be here. I have taught prekindergarten for 16 years with many successes. I have attended Arapahoe Community College for two years where I studied human growth and development and early childhood education. I am now attending UNC Center for Urban Education to finish my teaching degree. I love watching children learn and grow as the year progresses.
I am happily married and have three children, two of them attend Grant Ranch. In my spare time I like to play hockey, hike, camp, backpack, sew, and mostly hang out with my family just having fun. I am excited to be here this year working with kindergarteners.
